Access

Complimentary travel in a late model four-wheel drive vehicle together with a trailer-mounted jetboat is provided to enable good access to virtually any river or lake location in a fast and comfortable manner.

This equipment allows convenient guiding to other areas of the South Island beyond the areas mentioned above.

Equipment

Taking advantage of Wayne's experience, fishing flies that will catch the fish in various areas are provided. High quality rods and reels are available, but the angler will be required to provide clothing and footwear.

The area for the main fishing season enjoys fine and warm weather conditions but extremes can be expected. Tramping or wading boots together with shorts are fine for hot days but booted or bootless waders are highly desirable in cooler weather. A good quality parka is desirable for cool weather comfort. A cap or brimmed hat and sun block cream is essential for protection. Polarised sunglasses are a must for fish sighting.

A healthy lunch including hot and cold drinks is provided and special dietary needs can be catered for by prior arrangement.
